Fairstone Ltd a subsidairy of Evaco Group is a currently looking for a Steel Fixer Foreman. 

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of steel fixers on construction sites.
• Provide Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) as per drawings.
• Coordinate activities with Site Managers, Site Engineers, and other trades.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor progress of work.
• Report on any deviations from the project plan.
• Train and mentor junior staff.
• Manage resources and maintain a productive work environment.
• Enforce safety protocols and conduct risk assessments.
• Resolve any issues that may arise during the construction process.
• Ensure timely completion of projects within budget.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Requirements 

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Steel Fixer Foreman.
• Knowledge of Bar Bending Schedule will an advantage.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
