Fairstone Construction is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Contracts Manager to oversee the contractual and commercial aspects of construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing contracts from tender to completion, ensuring compliance, minimising risks, and protecting the company’s commercial interests.
Key Responsibilities:
· Draft, review, and negotiate construction contracts, subcontracts, and related documents
· Manage the contract administration process across project lifecycles
· Monitor contractual obligations, deadlines, and risk exposures
· Advise project and site teams on contractual matters and dispute avoidance
· Liaise with legal counsel, consultants, and clients as required
· Prepare reports on contract performance, variations, and claims
· Ensure alignment with project budgets, timelines, and quality expectations
Candidate Profile:
· Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Law, Civil Engineering, or related field
· Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in contract management within the construction industry
· Strong understanding of contract law, FIDIC or similar construction contract frameworks
· Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
· Proven ability to handle complex commercial and legal matters independently
