Store Helper

Duties and responsibilities

  • Assist Storekeeper for all daily store activities and operations.
  • Take delivery of all incoming materials and reconcile with purchase orders.
  • Any other duties related to position.
  • Properly labelled all items in store.
  • Conduct stock take and notify Storekeeper of items availabilities.
  • Ensure proper stock rotation of items.
  • Upon instructions, deliver the correct number of items as per requisitions.
  • Update inventory sheet.
  • Loading and unloading of materials.
  • Ensure the store is always clean and properly arranged.
  • Assist Storekeeper on site as and when required.
  • Adhere to all Safety and Health procedures.
  • Report any anomaly or concern to the reporting Manager.

Requirements

  • SC or relevant courses in Store Management.
  • Hands-on work experience as Helper in Store.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Good administrative skills.
  • Physically fit and ability to lift heavy materials.
  • Flexible in working hours.
  • Punctual, honest in approach.
  • Possess a clean certificate of character.
  • Possess a driving license.
