Sales Executive
Duties and responsibilities
  • Promote the company`s sales of products for wood, metal, aluminium and electrical.
  • Create networking and identify potential clients to build short-term and long-term professional relationships.
  • Conduct study to identify new trends, market activities, client prospection and propose product improvements to face competition.
  • Work in close collaboration with Floor Managers and Project Manager for technical and expertise knowledge assistance upon dealing with clients.
  • Be knowledgeable about joinery and fit-outs products to present to clients with convincing arguments in terms of quality products manufactured.
  • Understand client`s needs/requirements and advise on best possible products to consider.
  • Maintain communication with clients and provide quotation post consultation with Design and Production team.
  • Present project plans and layouts to client for approval or modification prior to start of project.
  • Prepare project quotation, ensure all documents, cost implications and terms of payment are checked and approved prior to issuing to client.
  • Conduct site visits along with Floor Managers, inspect quality of works, and keep client informed of progress.
  • Identify operational issues during work in progress and resolve same in a timely manner in line with delivery date.
  • Keep track of work on site by maintaining constant liaison with Foreman/Site Supervisors.
  • Provide regular feedback to the Management Team and General Manager.
  • Ensure client is provided with full support, information and guidance and service improvement.
  • Attend snagging along with Floor Managers and Project Manager to ensure project is being handled and delivered as per agreement.
  • Ensure sign-off sheets and other related formalities are completed and proper invoicing is done.
  • Any other cognate duties related to post.
  • BSC Marketing or relevant courses in Sales Management.
  • More than 5 years working experience in joinery/fit-outs, interior works sector or construction industry.
  • Proven track record and possess a portfolio of clients.
  • Ability to deal with clients in a professional manner.
  • Good analytical skills and ability to prepare costing.
  • Good technical knowledge related to wood, aluminium, metal.
  • Strong selling technique and persuasive skills.
  • Good communication skills – verbal and written in English and French.
  • Possess a clean certificate of character.
  • Must have a valid driving license and must have own means of transport.
