Property Rental Officer

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the rental of properties on a short- and medium-term rental basis by providing excellent services to meet customer’s expectations.
  • Work in close partnership with the reservation department to be fully aware on status of each property or unit available for rental.
  • Conduct market research analysis to understand current trend and demands including pricing strategies for better proposals.
  • Initiative sales strategies to attract customers to opt for properties in the pool of the Company.
  • Plan property visits with prospective clients and communicate important aspects of unit.
  • Achieve set sales objectives and action plans to reach set targets.
  • Through social media platforms, ensure visibility of rental services provided by Fine & Country (Mauritius).
  • Maintain close communication with existing owners of properties Managed by Fine & Country (Mauritius).
  • Maintain close communication with existing Tour Operators, DMCs and other stakeholders
  • Develop portfolio of properties managed by the short- and medium-term rental department.
  • Promote all services established by the company to existing and new clients in order to boost revenues.
  • Assist the reservation department as and when instructed by the General Manager.
  • Ensure KPIs set for the department are followed and provide feedback to reporting Manager.
  • Report any issues or anomalies to the General Manager for action plan going forward.
  • Any other duties related to post.


Job Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree Holder in Marketing or Sales Management.
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in a similar role.
  • Previous experience in the field of Sales in Hospitality and Property Management would be an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of OTAs
  • Must have an existing portfolio of Tour Operators and DMCs.
  • Attend Tourism Fairs locally and abroad when required.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with persuasive approach.
  • Ability to set up client meetings within short delays.
  • Maintain good client portfolios and database for ease of reference.
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written in English and French.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Must have a valid driving license and must own a vehicle (car).
  • Client follow-up and ensure best strategies are used for customer satisfaction.
  • Very professional approach.
