Job Overview:
We are looking for a meticulous and analytical Cost Estimator to support our construction and project teams by providing accurate cost estimates for residential and commercial projects. The selected candidate will assess materials, labour, and time requirements to ensure competitive and profitable project proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in the accounting software
• Prepare monthly management accounts, budgets, and cash flow forecasts
• File statutory returns including VAT, TDS, and other relevant submissions
• Prepare yearly financial statements in accordance with applicable standards
• Monitor financial performance, analyse variances, and recommend improvements
• Support audits and liaise with external stakeholders as required

Candidate Profile:

• Fully qualified or nearly completed a recognised Accounting Professional Qualification (e.g. ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent)
• Preferably with prior experience in the construction or real estate sector
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and statutory compliance
• Proficiency in Buildsmart accounting software and MS Office tools (Excel in particular)
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
