Job Overview:
Evaco Corporate Services Ltd is looking for a skilled and dedicated IT Support Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing essential technical support to all employees, ensuring IT systems operate smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Administer user accounts, system access, and Active Directory.
- Support network connectivity (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN) and collaborate on complex issues.
- Manage IT support tickets, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication.
- Handle IT onboarding/offboarding, equipment setup, and access provisioning.
- Maintain IT asset inventory, software licenses, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement solutions and improve systems.
Candidate Profile:
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and/or macOS operating systems.
- Good understanding of computer hardware components and troubleshooting methods.
- Foundational networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, basic network troubleshooting).
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and commonly used business applications.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with a customer-focused mindset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Prior experience in an IT support or helpdesk role is an advantage.
