Main Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support of IT services to the organisation.
  • Assist the onboarding and offboarding of users.
  • To solved issues within define SLA.
  • Provide support of Office 365 and Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Principal IT contact for business users to support various SharePoint, Power Apps and Dynamics projects and solutions.
  • Provide second line support for our existing SharePoint applications and Intranet as well as providing input to support of existing Dynamics 365 solutions and Power Apps solutions.
  • Identify areas and processes where Microsoft 365, Office 365, Power Automate, Power Apps and SharePoint can be better leveraged and facilitate process improvement.
  • Responsible for developing PowerApps model and canvas driven applications.
  • Utilise problem-solving skills to understand client pain points and troubleshoot as challenges arise.
  • Work with and provide technical oversight of external third-party organisations that are supporting our solutions.
  • Training and handover of solutions to product owners and super users.
  • Provide architecture, configuration, administration, and functional support to expand capabilities in the areas of M365, O365 and Azure development environments.
  • Contact suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems.
  • Track the status of requisitions and orders.
  • Performs monitoring & maintenance of servers, routers, switches, access points, firewalls, and other computer network components.
  • Install, support and maintain network hardware and software.
  • Evaluate, support and maintain system performance.
  • Configure and update VoIP software and services including QoS specifications.
  • Assist in network design and implementation.
  • Provide network support with a variety of operating systems.
  • Maintain network connectivity of all computer workstations.
  • Develop and monitor policies for the use of network resources.
  • Implement and manage disaster recovery and back-up.
  • Evaluate and recommend security improvements and system upgrades.
  • Monitor network to ensure optimal performance.
  • Ensure timely system patches to network equipment and software.
  • Availability to work odd hours as and when required.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • 4 years’ of experience in the field.
  • Linux, Apache, MySQL, IIS conversant would be an advantage
  • Azure and Microsoft 365 conversant
  • Proven experience managing IT infrastructure and services.
  • Experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation.
  • Proficient in computer hardware, cabling installation and support, wireless technology applications and interface, and IT security.
  • Proven leadership skills.
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Considerable ability to identify, analyse and resolve complex business and technical problems
