Duties and responsibilities

• Assembly, Test, Install and Maintain electrical wiring and electrical distribution boards.
• Electrical First, Second and Final fix installations, including system testing with multi meters, RCD testers, oscilloscope, Earth Loop Resistance Testing to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
• Setting out and Installation of electrical fixtures using electrical shop drawings.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
• Implementation of Electrical Automation and Control Systems.
• Filling and submission of intervention forms after completion of an electrical installation.
• Observe all applicable safety regulations.
• Proper installation of sockets, distribution of cabling related to automation system.
• Assist Team Leader and Manager to conduct electrical installation assessment, and other requirements.
• Assist in conduct snagging, troubleshoot related to testing prior and after installation.
• Inform Manager of any anomaly or issues detected for action plan and intervention.
• Ensure that all health and safety aspects are observed at all times to avoid any risk of injury and hazard.
• Any other duties related to post.

Requirements

• NC3 certifications from MITD or any other certified courses relevant to Electrical installation.
• Hands on work experience as Electrician.
• Knowledge of Three phase and mono phase electrical installations.
• Knowledge of MS word including Excel.
• Ability to meet deadlines and ability to work odd hours.
• Preparation of reports and update of required dashboards for follow-up.
• Good communication skills – verbal and written in English and French.
• Punctual, professional and good approach.
• Has a valid driving license.
