Accounts Officer (Temporary 6 – 9 months contract)
Duties and responsibilities
• Prepare payment for supplier, update supplier register on sage software and reconciliation statement of account supplier with sage.
• Update bank statement, prepare cash flow, perform bank reconciliation and prepare bank slip for banking cash/cheque.
• Assist in preparing management accounts.
• Prepare journals for end of month.
• Update fixed assets register and other schedules for Management Accounts.
• Send ageing to General Manager.
• Prepare invoices for clients.
• Liaise with other team members of group for inter-company balances.
• Other duties as may be assigned by Accountant.
• HSC or Diploma Holder
• Minimum 1 year experience as Accounts Clerk/Accounts Officer.
• Experience in Manufacturing, Production or Factory Operations would be an advantage.
• Ability to prepare cheques, eye for details and accurate with calculations.
• IT proficient and good knowledge of word, excel, spread sheet.
• Good communication skills – verbal and written in English and French.
• Knowledge in SAGE pastel or other accounting software.
• Punctual, honest and team player.
• Ability to work odd hours when required and perform inventory task for cost related tasks.
